A disc shaped focal bead which features a red bird on a branch in front of the moon on a cloudy evening sky. The base bead is made from red opal glass which is thinly encased in clear glass for subtle shine. Mouth blown silvered ivory shards are then applied to the surface of the bead to create the cloudy effect before the moon and the bird on the branch are added. A final layer of clear glass over these elements secures them to the surface and adds depth and polish.
