A glass cabochon handmade in my garden shed also known as 'The Melting Pot'. The cabochon is made with a reactive vanilla base of glass topped with clear glass and has a turquoise powder and brass fragments added between the layers to increase the reactive process in the heat of the kiln. The brass creates wonderful bubbles - no two pieces are ever alike! The cabochon is set in a pretty Sterling Silver setting framing the glass and bringing out the sparkle of the focal bubble.
 
The pendant hangs from an 18inch Sterling Silver corb chain.
